Definition Brows Microblading: A student's experience

One of our Definition Brows Microblading students, Starr Parker, emailed us this heart-warming experience. We love making a difference in our clients' lives and we are so glad that she was able to experience it as well. There is nothing more humbling than to make an impact in someone's life. This is what we like to call, "The JHON-JHON® Experience".

"This one was HARD for me but she is not one that will ever be forgotten! I want to share her story with you guys.... so I hope you enjoy! This is a sweet lady that has worked with my mother for the past 16  years. She had never received any other services from me & was a first time client. She literally had NO EYEBROWS! She said the reason why she didn't have any was because they were so sparse & she thought they looked terrible so she just shaved them off & drew them on!!! She never asked to see a mirror, not once & even declined the chance for a sneak peak when I offered it to her stating that she fully trusted me & wanted to be surprised! At that point I knew that she had more faith & confidence in me than I had in myself. I honestly was not expecting that response from her but it was most definitely a confidence builder. You see her brows were not only non-existent but she had a large scar with deep scar tissue right where her left brow should have been. So that particular spot was very painful for her while it was being bladed & the ink wasn't taking well in that spot either. It ended up taking way longer than I had anticipated due to her sensitivity & all the troubles that come along with deep scar tissue so thank goodness she was my last appointment for the day.  When I was finally finished & I handed her the mirror.... she began to cry. My first thought was OMG!!!! She hates them..... what am going to do? Just as I began to explain that "I know they look a bit dramatic now but they will lighten up drastically within a few days" she grabbed me & gave me the biggest most grateful hug. She pulled back looked me dead in the eyes & said....."You don't understand what you've done for me! I feel like a normal person again!" as she wiped the tears from her cheeks, she thanked me for taking on such a big challenge & as I wiped the tears from my cheeks, I thanked her for believing in me!  I don't know how many cases like this one I will get in my career. I mainly work on & help women who are concerned about trying to look younger, not that there is anything wrong with that. After all, I did choose a career in the Beauty Industry. I myself desire a forever youthful appearance & if the world was without vanity ..... I'd be without a job! All I know is it sure warms your heart when get the opportunity to help someone that isn't coming to you because she wants to LOOK younger......she is coming to you because she wants to FEEL like a normal person! I can't thank you guys enough for giving me the skills that made it possible for me to do that for her! You guys are awesome!"
