About Microblading
Microblading is a gentler form of Permanent Makeup. Using a microblade, pigment is implanted in the epidermis of the skin, giving the appearance of extremely fine, crisp and natural looking hair strokes. The effects last up to 18 months, after which the pigment fades and leaves the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of his or her eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania or any other conditions that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as those who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows.
The pigments used have been specially formulated for Microblading and matched to your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, will blend perfectly into your natural brows. The results are a realistic, flawless, fuller looking brow.
A color boost is required usually between 12-18 months. A touch-up may be required at 12 months or sooner for oily-skinned clients, those who tan often, or those who often expose brow area to certain chemicals (facial peels, chlorine, anti-aging products, etc.). Pigment retention varies depending on skin type, age, aftercare, immune system, medications, certain chemicals, and the type of pigment used.
